Celebrating Muslim writers & booklovers

Every year, we come together for a fun day of book discussions, workshops, poetry readings, and guest speakers. Local community libraries, authors, publishers, and other vendors show and sell their books, services, and other items.

This is the first and only Muslim literary festival in Oregon, open to everyone!

The Crescent Books team works together with the following organizations to make this event a reality:

The Crescent Institute, Bilal Mosque Association, Islamic Community Center of Hillsboro, Islamic Society of Greater Portland, and Cool Islam.
